October 2011 - Free Skins for mojoPortal

Wow - this has been a crazy month! Busy, busy, busy - a new print ad for Dream Hats, new clients, big projects, and even more big things coming in November.

I'm grateful for all the good things that have come our way, but it's meant that we were a little slower in bringing you the mojoGeeks Skin of the Month; to make up for it, we decided to throw in a bonus skin for Halloween!

Our mojoGeeks subscriber Todd Stone chose the "Beach Morning" color theme from Design Seeds. Here in the northern hemisphere, where IndigoTea is based, we're gearing up for the holiday season, so we decided to go with a fall theme, invoking thoughts of flannel jackets and crisp autumn days. Accordingly, we've named this design "Blue Flannel Jacket". The webkit font used with this skin is Pacifico, at Font Squirrel.  The social media icons you see in the screenshot are from The Leaf Fall social icon set from Smashing Magazine. ‚ÄčThe "horn of plenty" graphic is separate from the header, for ease of customization.

Halloween is one of my personal favorite holidays; I love autumn, and this month is absolutely packed with birthdays in my family. Costumes, spooky stories, you name it - we love it all! One of my favorite clients, Dream Hats, recently created a limited edition topper called "Dark Carnival"; it is such a cool hat that it inspired our bonus mojoPortal skin for October, "Dru's Delight".  The webkit font used in this design is Bloody, at Font Squirrel; the social media icons seen in this screenshot are from the "Jack-o'-Lantern Social Media Icons" by Shane Jeffers of Three Styles‚ÄčIf you're looking for a dark, offbeat theme, the pumpkin graphic is separate from the header, for ease in customization.

These skins are available free of charge for a limited time, exclusively to our mojoGeeks newsletter subscribers. We'll be sending out download links to these skins to our subscribers on Tuesday, October 25; let your mojoPortal-driven site dress up for Halloween - subscribe today!
